Hi there Char, thank you for stopping by & welcome to the addictive & delicious world of food blogging! Never seen an egg substitute here in Delhi. Food art blog? Hmmm, not sure what you mean. Maybe you can check your history to find the link. One of my fave food blogs that inspires me no end is Aran's blog @ Canelle Et Vanille. See you around, and good luck!!
Welcome to the world of food blogging. About the question you left on my blog. For pastry dough (as you used in your tart), ingredients, especially the butter, need to be very cold. You also have to ensure you handle the dough as little as possible. If your butter wasn't cold enough, it could be the reason for the melt. Also check which recipe you used.
If your dough is crumbly, try sprinkling a bit of water and bringing the dough together (do not knead). Chill and roll out. Am not sure this will save your remaining dough, but you can try. :) Good luck.
